The Order of War is Now Recruiting

Greetings,

At this time the Order of War, as indicated, will be recruiting new
Soldiers. In placing the request for application, I have set forth to
portray the sort of persons that may be interested in such an endeavor.

Long has it been assumed and rumored that War is merely concerned with
warriors, weapons, and a wide array of instruments used to sack,
pillage, or otherwise render defenseless an enemy or enemy organization.
However, this paints too narrow a picture of an art rooted in ancient
practices.

War encompasses much more than merely having the ability to physically
overcome a foe and also houses among its number strategists, diplomats,
traders, spies, and etc. The point I am trying to make is that there is
no need to have a certain set of skills to be a Soldier, there are many
Soldiers with many different sorts of skills. All are necessary and have
a place in undertaking, planning, and in attaining Victory. An army, for
instance, has little hope of triumph if it has not the necessary
supplies or information regarding the enemy it wishes to attack.

The aim of War is to defeat the enemy and to attain Victory. This being
the case, War is not beholden to city, creed, or other perceived
loyalties. War is independent of Evil or Good, Nature or Chaos, Freedom
or Oppression. While followers of War may be subject to such ideals, War
imposes none of them.

It being the case that Soldiers come from many backgrounds and are not
limited to the mere art of fighting, I hope that each of you shall
consider whether you hold within yourself an undeniable will to pursue
War, to learn the arts necessary for Victory, and to learn to hone your
skills to join into the Army of War itself.
