"We declare our liberty to live as we choose, with the foreknowledge
that choice begets consequence." -- excerpt from the Ashtani Creed
As difficult as this may be, I will endeavour to assist in a bit of
reading comprehension. Though one may be steeped in the mire of idiocy
that comes with years of unpunished and innumerable violations, that one
is not excused from the consequence of action. The ethos of Freedom that
Ashtan supports does not allow for people to do whatever the hell they
want with no repercussions, despite that rather unfortunate and
prevalent misconception. When one acts, it is with the understanding
that consequences will follow.
With that stunning epiphany, you now know that actions, including words,
have consequences. Wallow in self-righteous pity if you will, you will
not do so from within the walls of the Bastion. The days of using
ignorance of freedom as a shield are over.
