Public News Post #18088

Your Offer

Written by: Djulsan, King of Zanzibaar
Date: Friday, April 10th, 2009
Addressed to: Captain Zulah Blackheart, Notorious Bandit

The kingdom of Zanzibaar has little need for your superficial offer of
protection. Our harbour welcomes equally all manner of seafarers,
merchants, and other travellers, but those who engage in piracy and
threats against us are unwelcome.

Any smugglers and "fine wenches" your sailors claim to have encountered
upon our islands violate the traditions and high moral standing of our
people by committing theft and murder, and are not under the protection
of our sovereign laws. Those found to be soliciting services from these
criminals are to be penalised, while the offenders themselves are under
perpetual warrant of arrest.

Penned by My hand on the 8th of Aeguary, in the year 506 AF.
