Flair and the co-Babblers,
Not surprisingly, it would appear that you have your information wrong.
It was the Babblers who started this animosity.
Was it not Terra who first defiled a shrine to Lord Thoth?
Was it not Terra who enemied Hermaldo to Ashtan, claiming he defiled a
shrine even though there were no witnesses, and he was simply visiting
the city? Misusing her power in Ashtan to further the cause of Babel by
enemying a Qui'anar to the city.
Was it not Terra and Gloirin who were conspiring to replace all the
Archons in Ashtan with ones who were subservient to Babel so that they
could then remove all citizens who were not followers of Babel and make
the city into their vision of a true City of Chaos?
Your foolishness knows no bounds if you believe that the actions of your
Order weaken us. The actions of the Babblers is but the annoying buzzing
of a gnat in our proverbial ears, inconsequential and easily ignored.
Your faith must truly be weak and easily broken if you believe that Your
God may be wrong.
Your terms are as ludicrous as your beliefs and so we propose new ones
that the rest of Sapience would agree are more appropriate.
Lord Babel, the chaotic God of Oblivion is but an interloper on the
birthright of Lady Pandora and Lord Pandemonium, the true Goddess and
God of Chaos respectively with the Chaotic exodus of Lady Eris. Lady
Eris twice worked to destroy your God, clearly showing that he was truly
no authority on Chaos but a mere smudge.
Our terms are as follows:
1. Lord Babel and all His Babblers must swear fealty to the true God and
Goddess of Chaos.
2. Lord Babel and all His Babblers must swear that they are not
authorities on Chaos, merely the abuse of Chaos to bring about Oblivion.
3. Lord Babel and all His Babblers must cease all actions, both obvious
and covert, against the Order of Death and the City of Ashtan.
Once these conditions are met, the attacks on your followers and your
shrines shall cease. Until that time, all deaths, both yours and ours
will only serve to strengthen our Lord and weaken yours.
The Order of Death
