Father, I must ask you to cease and desist from your generalizations
regarding the Ashtani citizenry.

We here in Ashtan, we like to define ourselves as...having free-thinking
attitudes towards others. We're not bound to be allies with only
so-and-so, or only raid against so-and-so. If some of us want to assist
Mhaldorian raids, we're more than welcome to. If others want to assist
Shallamese raids, we're a bit confused but do not disallow it. Because
of this open-mindedness amongst us, it is rather insulting for you to
generalize the entire city's populous as Shallamese-aiding.

And I apologize if you feel we Ashtani would choose Shallam or Eleusis
over Mhaldor. Some of us simply weren't present for the raid. Sorry,
Father.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Scarlatan, in the year 497 AF.
