Murg,
I almost did not bother to waste my time responding to your post, when
it occurred to me that your words deserve a response, though I am pained
to bother writing to you at all.
First of all, I do not require incentive from you or any other
dishonorable fool in this realm to teach my Cubs how to defend against
thievery, or to teach them anything for that matter. My meaning in what
I said was that, because I value your opinion so very little, nothing
you would "suggest" to me as a method of improving the well-being of my
young could affect what I do in the slightest. However, since you seem
so adamant on making sure our young are taught that which you desire to
teach, I believe you'll be pleased to know that I will be starting up an
Anti-Theft program in the Sentinels of Nature. I'll be sure to use you
as an example of the type of imbecile that generally succumbs to
thievery. And when I am educating my Cubs as to how to avoid being
hypnotized into handing away their belongings, I'll be sure to mention
that if you specifically attempt to rob any of them, they not only
should move away immediately but they should also immediately inform the
House on the proper channel so that you may die swiftly and mercilessly.
Second of all, teaching our young how to avoid being robbed is only one
step in their protection against thieves. Just because my Cub today was
unsuccessful in subduing your attempts does not mean you should be
safeguarded from the consequences of your actions. As long as you
continue to attempt (successfully or unsuccessfully, whatever the case
may be) to rob innocent children under my protection, I will hunt you
without mercy and without cease; a fate you most definitely deserve.
If I were you, I would seek refuge in that vermin-infested city of yours
until such a time as you don't feel the urge to take what is not yours.
I cannot speak to the consequences if you choose to adventure outside of
the Ashtan gates.
