Slaves

Written by: Monarch of Malarkey, Tiax Drac'Kal
Date: Sunday, September 28th, 2008
Addressed to: Shala-Khulia

I'm writing this message to those who are currently enslaved on the
island of Shala-Khulia, laboring on whatever monstrosity is being
constructed. People who have been forced into slavery have had their
spirits broken, and their smiles stolen. The Carnivalis Institute of
Jestering is an organization which, despite our reputation, seeks to
rebuild the spirits of those who have been crushed beneath the weight of
life's hardships.

I therefore extend an offer to those who are currently enslaved. Within
a few months, I will come for you. Those who have a glimmer of their
former spirits remaining, and are willing to take great risk for their
freedom may then return with me to the mainland, where I will find you
shelter.
