That old misconception

Hello Sapience:

Commonly, a mistaken assumption is made regarding change and the force
of Chaos. While it is evident that one facet of Chaos is change, it is
important to note that most change, in fact, isn't Chaotic at all. Keep
in mind that, as I discuss ideas like Chaos, Good, and Nature, I speak
only for myself and not any other organization.

Nature is an immense facet of Creation that helps insure life is
possible. If it dies, most every mortal being will die with it. It is
constantly growing and changing - this is obvious. But is this change
tied to Chaos? It positively is not and saying otherwise is nonsense.
The change we see in Nature is actually the antithesis of Chaos; this
growth and change is caused by Good, which is a force of Creation.
Plants, animals, and mortals always naturally change, grow, interact,
and adapt in order to survive and, at least as far as Nature, maintain
Harmony.

Occultists may respect Nature, and they may not wish to harm it; but,
via their magics, they most certainly can and do damage it - passively
or not. And intent! Their harm is as intentional as their choice of
class. Every moment an occultist chooses to keep his class, he chooses
to damage Creation (and, subsequently, Nature) and aid Oblivion. As far
as Lord Babel respecting Nature, I can understand motives for that, but
it matters not. Change benefits Creation and is not always Chaotic;
Chaos, on the other hand, damages both Nature and Creation. Those who
follow such a reckless path shouldn't reap the benefits; that, I
believe, is why Eleusis/Oakstone has made the logical decisions it has.

Of course, if it were up to me, they would be declared enemies to the
forests themselves - very powerful is Nature's wrath.

As we sing a cappella, may the Light keep us on Pitch!
