Do not let the 'noble' words of the Ivory Mark fool you. The was never a
war between the Quisalis and the Ivory marks. The leaders Ivory Mark
made the call for conflict. They struck out against the lower members of
our organization. They posted war stories of their 'victories' over the
Quisalis assassins. Reveling in their triumph they met the real members
of the Quisalis.

Striking from the Shadows, Poergh, the silent assassin, took the head of
famed and outspoken Champion, Sobriquet.

Let it be known that this fate shall fall upon any Ivory mark that has
the temerity to speak out against the Quisalis. Should you disparage our
ranks, or profession, a profession that puts food on the tables of our
children then you shall truly know suffering. Perhaps your children
shall go hungry when their mother is inexplicably garroted on the way
home from the market. Perhaps then you will realize why we fight.

We dispatch anyone to Lord Thoth if the price is right. The morality is
left to our patrons.

Any Champion who would raise arms against the Ivory and I assure you, no
amount of bargaining with Lord Hermes will alter your fate.
