Maldaathi Knight Tournament

Attention house leaders,
The Maldaathi will be hosting another worldwide Knight tournament.
Applications should be sent to me via letter from each house that will
be participating. Please include the names of the warriors who will
represent you and which bracket you believe best suits their respective
ability.
The rules:
- All participants must be of a knight class. (paladin, runewarden or
infernal.)
- Any house may join, you need not be a traditional Knight house.
- There will be two separate brackets available, One for veteran
fighters (determined at the discretion of the house in question) and one
for your less experienced, up-and-coming fighters who are below level
80.
- A limit of four veteran and three amateur fighters may enter for each
house. This is a maximum and need not be met in order to participate. A
house may join with only one warrior, if they so desire.
- There is no fee for registering your house.
- The tournament will develop in a round-robin fashion. The house
possessing the most points at the end will emerge victorious.
- A match will consist of three spars, held in neutral territory. Best
of three will take the match.
- Artefacts excluding weapons and pipes will only be permitted if both
combatants agree. Dragonform will not be permitted at all.
- The outcome of the match must be messaged to me by both combatants in
a simple format. (example: Sir Taran vs. Executor Nulaye, in round one.
Sir Taran won the match.)
- Winning a match will add three points to the overall score of your
house. A draw will add one. Losing will not alter your score.
- The tournament will begin on the first of Sarapin, 482. Participants
will receive a letter with exact dates and bracket information for each
round before the start of the tournament.
- Each round will have a time limit of three months in which it must be
completed. If the combatants are unable to meet and spar within that
time, no extension or points will be given. If you contact me early with
personal time constraints I will attempt to assign the most suitable
opponent possible, but no promises. This is primarily your
responsibility and no changes will be made to brackets once the
tournament begins.
Prizes will be provided: a trophy to the house which wins the veteran
bracket as well as a credit prize, and a credit prize to the amateur who
stands triumphant.
I will be accepting applications until the end of the year. Any
questions or relevant concerns, contact me directly.
In service to the Masters,
Squire Nulaye Vastel,
Viceroy, Mhaldor.
Penned by my hand on the 19th of Miraman, in the year 481 AF.
