Aliath

Redwan,
You are sorely mistaken. After Saltaern's obvious conflict of interest
in attempting to remove Aliath himself for actions against the Nerai, I
was put in charge of the situation yes. My duties were as follows: Place
Aliath on a "probation" and find out if he wishes to remain a Regent or
Not. That is it. After speaking with Aliath, he stated he wished to
remain a Regent, and thusly, he was asked to contact Mistress Ourania to
proceed further with his wishes. Aliath himself, after speaking with
Mistress Ourania, decided he will step down from the Regency place. I
was merely the gatekeeper with Aliath, and nothing more.
I must also point out that in the entirety of my previous post, the only
faults you find within it, are regarding the Aliath situation, and you
do not dispute that Saltaern acted unjustly in casting out myself and
Decan without due process. The only people who are defending Saltaern
the the very people who fear him. It is a sad day when an entire city
will not speak out against one man, for fear that they will be axed just
like I have been. I have been a citizen of Hashan longer than Saltaern
has been alive. I watched Elentari form the first known government
within the lands, and subsequently ascend to become Mistress Ourania.
When a Divine looks at Hashan, and shakes Her head in disgust and
decides it is no longer worth Her Patronage due to the actions of one
man, I think the people should stop and take a deep breath and look at
the facts. Hashan is a democracy, not an dictatorship, and you have
nothing to fear. Saltaern has been a great leader, up until this point,
when he decided the laws were not something he must follow, but rather
can bend to his will and remove two outstanding, loyal citizens with
absolutely no basis or proof of any false accusations he has brought
against us.
