Due Process?

Dear Hashan,
It has become glaringly obvious that if you give one person enough power
and time, he/she will abuse it thoroughly. I will start the
clarifications with Aliath. Aliath was a fine Regent of Hashan, however
his actions began to threaten the Nerai. Saltaern, being a fellow house
mate and a high ranking Nerai himself, could of course, not allow this
to happen. Saltaern began his actions to remove Aliath as a Regent.
Eventually, it was realized that due to his leadership position, and
conflict of interest, he was ordered not to involved himself in the
situation surrounding Aliath. Aliath's removal as a Regent began with
Saltaern.
Among other things, Saltaern has made citations in an extremely
disrespectful manner to the Divine, that I, nor Decan, should be
afforded a Trial due to previous persons not receiving one. I will point
out that Hashan's government is based on using the Regent Council in a
Judiciary fashion, essentially making each Regent, a judge. I am privy
to Tribal's removal, and can state with confidence, that he received a
fair judgment by all Regents who Voted for his removal. This process
would be considered, an informal Trial.
However, no vote was taken to remove myself or Decan. The actions taken
against myself and Decan were taken solely by Saltaern himself. No
Regents were asked to place a vote. They may have talked about the
situation, but they did not vote. As this was brought to the attention
of the City, Mistress Ourania recitizened myself and Decan, and demanded
a trial, as due process was not followed. However, in the abusiveness of
the position he holds, Saltaern cast us out again, and cited that a
Divine overstepped Her boundary. No, my dearest Saltaern, You have
Overstepped Your bounds.
I asked Saltaern directly, what my crimes were. He stated to me I am
guilty of Treason and Sedition. Of course, I have been punished for
these crimes by being cast out of the city. However, I asked what basis
does Saltaern have to provide proof of my Treasonous actions, as I
certainly, have made none. I was told that the basis (facts if you will)
of my Treasonous actions would be told to me AFTER he had a chance to
hold a city meeting. Last I remembered, when you charged someone with a
crime, and executed a punishment for it, you already had the facts, and
thusly, did not have to wait to manipulate the City's viewpoint to
ensure victory.
