First off, all that I discuss in this article is my personal opinions,
not those of any organization I might belong to.
I won't come to you, people of Sapience, pretending to know -too- much
about Chaos nor Light. I do know a considerable amount, though - enough
to guide me in the decisions I make. I must say, a main flair of mine is
etiquette! Personally, I don't give much regard to persons of such base
moral standards that they rely on petty insults to get their ideas
across.
On the point of the Church and their 'bloated egos,' I haven't found any
of the Prelacy to be egotistical, in my few months in the Church.
Actually, all of them are quite humble and very ready to fairly answer
questions, without being rude or demeaning. Many times (especially in
these public news forums!), I have found that followers/leaders of Chaos
come in arguing with insults first and (il)logic second. However, in all
of my conversations with the Prelacy and other Church members, not one
rude or unfair thing was said about Evil nor Chaos. I encourage any to
seek this out and see if it is factual!
Another point has been made that the lower Church members don't have
wills and that their opinions are deemed 'irrelevant or wicked.' This
too is inaccurate, as I have been told by a Prelate to seek out what
Evil and Chaos are myself, and to -not- entirely rely on her opinions.
The Truth, you will find, is rather pleasantly surprising!
As far as the 'commands' of the Church, -I- haven't been commanded to do
anything. I haven't been asked to defile a shrine, burn karma, nor pass
on this word of Truth. Instead, I think that Church members are guided
foremost by their own intellectual conscience that all sapient beings
possess. Also, it is quite upsetting for me to read that someone would
state that leaders in the Church assume to speak with the authority of
the Divine that support it. This isn't true, and, in fact, I think it's
quite contrary to the ideals of the Church; the leaders always maintain
humility
Now, after clearing up that nonsense about the Church, let me discuss
Oblivion. I am young and honest: Prior to Lord Agatheis graciously
allowing mortals access to His research, I knew very little about how
Order and Chaos worked. From what I gather, Lord Agatheis is a neutral
God; so, information concerning Chaos and Order should prove most
valuable coming from this unbiased source.
Upon reading the Lord's pillars, it is clear that the inevitability of
Oblivion is questionable. Those who follow a path, not necessarily Good
or of the Light, but one benefiting Creation, actively slow Chaos'
seeping into the Realm of Creation. As such, it -is- possible to
eventually reverse the flow of Chaos, since as it enters this Realm, it,
too, can exit it. Therefore, purification of the Realm of Creation is
possible and Oblivion, accordingly, can be avoided. So, as you see, the
inaccuracies told by Imyrr are without foundation.
To address Flair's opinion that the destruction of Creation could be
favorable: I suppose, to a minority, it might be. People who are
stagnant, lazy, and apathetic might deserve Oblivion. I would equally
say that if followers of Babel and Babel himself want Oblivion, they
ought to have it (I truly don't know if this is desired by you all). IN
fact, you all could jump on a boat steered by Captain Babel and sail
straight into Oblivion. You would get what you want (I think) and
Creation could be purified. Why is that option not favorable?
Imyrr, and maybe other followers of Chaos, want you to be selfish. They
want you to think that you and your life is meaningless so you'll only
do things for yourself. I tell you, very evidently, if you do this, your
Oblivion -will- be inevitable and it will be -your- fault (this idea I
picked up from Gloirin in a great sermon). If you wish to find
happiness, to live productively with your families and friends, to have
a true -purpose,- you will side with Creation. Only through Chaos is
Oblivion sustainable, cut off its source, and Babel will be thwarted,
Oblivion will be obverted, and we can get on with our lives!
I thank you all for reading this, but I won't be able to post too often
(which is why it's so long!). It is quite expensive for me! I look
forward to any counter/supportive posts, and I enjoy tells or messages
concerning these important subjects!
