an unofficial opinion but...

I'm looking forward to the Mhaldorian government making sure all your
communiques are made public here. I'm with the person who comments that
the public boards are, and I quote: "blatant idiocy" That a letter saves
us all from having to wonder and baffle at the varied opinions of this
continent regarding the best way to further mortakind.
However, if the Tyrannus feels it an dishonorable thing to use paper to
rebuke arguments (their actual correctness or sensibility or even
effectiveness I will not comment upon, as I dare not touch the several
hundred year debate there for fear of burning my fingers) then, although
I can certainly not comment for my own city and government I can
personally assure you that you need not send any letters to me to
tarnish said honour.
Hopefully any experiences, recently or in earlier years of your tenure
that you've had to send letters have not put upon too much of a strain,
in
future it would be wise to inform people formally of this arrangement.
As an aside note, I still feel it's perhaps a smart duck who avoids long
opinion debates on the public news board. I appreciate the irony in
this.
--Finchy
As another aside, I am unsure of how it is also honourable to place
enemy letters for public view. If you wished to inform the world of your
dislike, then it could have very easily have been done without including
it. Again, merely a suggestion Tyrannus.
Penned by my hand on the 13th of Daedalan, in the year 466 AF.
