your preaching, but then again Good's actions

Hail, Archprelate.
Your post, 17573, contains much ground for the scholars of the realm.
Again the blatant mismatch between what the Church tells Sapience and
what the Church does to Sapience bursts into public view.
From your post:
"the scions of Good, led by the Jewel of the East and the might of the
Holy Church"
"Good stands against the swelling tide of Chaos"
"reliance upon the slaves of Chaos"
Such rank, delicious morsels of Church hypocrisy. Or are you as
Archprelate simply ignorant of what the purported servants of Good are
actually up to in the realm? I do appreciate your quandary. It must not
be easy preaching the purity of Good while your choir is singing the
praises of cooperation with anybody available.
For instance, recently Archfiend Cain was assailing the gates of
Eleusis. Who do you think was standing shoulder to shoulder with Jaiz,
Eleusian, Occultist, enemy of the Holy Church of Achaea? Sir Silas, Hand
of Elysia, Sultan of Shallam, and not incidentally your marital partner.
It is very deft of you to preach against Chaos while sending Sir Silas
out to fight with Occultists.
Of course, Occultists are not the only Church-disapproved Sapients that
the scions of Good join with, are they? Beatrice of the Empyreal
Assembly and Shallam, and Dannyl of the Crystalline Circle were both
assailing Mhaldor along with Virre. This is Virre, Corten, Eleusian,
butcher of innocents. Virre, one of the few Sapients removed from both
the Blood Congregation and Warlocks of the Rising Phoenix for sheer
idiocy. The followers of Good do so enjoy the company of murderers when
it is convenient.
But then, it's not as if the followers of Good don't usually rely on
Occultists, murderers of innocents, rogues, and others you brand as
ne'er-do-wells, is it? Those orthodox servants of Good Ernam, Ellodin,
and Destar needed Morrigu the Occultist, Jhui and Virre the Corten
innocent-hunters, and Dyzanru the perpetual outcast all together to
attack Mhaldor.
"Perhaps in time, Good shall gain allies", you wrote. It would seem that
you already have them.
On the other hand, I should not spend overmuch time decrying Good's
failings. The Light is dimmed by the Church's willingness to ally with
its own enemies. Sentient life itself advances wherever the Light is
diminished. I pray to the Lords that your disgusting Light fails
forever, and I thank you for doing your part.
