I have to commend you on your ability to mask the death and destruction
that occurred during the time to make the Luminai look benign. The
Occultists know the Shakira Effect intimately, and also know that it was
used as a banner to wipe out those that participated in the Occult
workings. Several Occultists were lost to the Shakira Effect during the
time when they were perfecting the ability, not entire cabals. Families
were destroyed and people were hunted across the continent, the
Carnivalis had to smuggle them out for fear of their lives. Simple
cleansing rituals do not cause entire groups of people to disappear,
they do not drive them into hiding and secrecy.

I fail to find any statements you claim about how it was all the
Occultists fault plausible when you go on to state that Chaos has been
allowed to fester too long. The Occultists have practiced the Occult for
many years, reclaiming their science and mysticism from time despite the
efforts of groups who espouse Good as their driving force. You state
Good didn't cause anything, it as a concept may not be responsible, but
those zealots gripped in fear believing they were doing their work for
Good have.
