Cetus,
When Entropy and Discord were dispersed throughout Creation and Humans
were born from the rape of Maya by the Unnammable Horror, yes, Chaos
became a part of Creation.
It discourages me, however, to know that people often stop at this
tidbit of information and refuse to look any further into what Chaos
truly is. Chaos is..."quarantined" within us all, for lack of a better
word. It has been contained where it is, and the little that exists
within Creation as of now cannot grow nor harm us, as far as we know.
Does this knowledge justify pumping more Chaos into our realm on a
constant basis, when we know that Chaos itself is destructive to
Creation? Entropy and Discord were dispersed as a last resort, and now
we are branded for it, but this does not make it "okay" to start playing
with fire.
Creation, Nature, and all of sentient life grew and flourished before
Chaos was introduced to us, so we know that Chaos is not the sole reason
for creativity, random happenings, or growth, even though Chaotic
practices have been known to cause random happenings. Every occultist
I've ever argued with has claimed that Creation IS Chaos, essentially.
Coming up with philosophic, semantic nonsense while opposers to Chaos
have historic proof right at their fingertips...it seems to me like some
people are just making excuses so that they can feel justified
exercising their Freedom.
Speaking of Freedom, there comes a point where Freedom becomes
irresponsible. It honestly pains me to have to go to war and shed the
blood of people. I wish Chaos were more tangible so I could attack it
directly, but that's sadly not the case. I had come to a point where I
had to make a choice: Let these people practice their Chaotic ways, or
have all of Creation and its inhabitants become twisted beyond any form
of sentient comprehension.
One final point...when an occultist tells you that Chaos is the ultimate
expression of Freedom, and becoming one with Chaos is a laudable
endeavor, consider the following:
Chaos does offer freedom. It offers freedom from strife, freedom from
physical bounds. It also offers freedom from life, freedom from emotion,
and freedom from sentience -- freedom from free will.
Is the loss of sentience and free will really a Freedom, or is it more
of a prison?
