Greetings Sapience.

I come before you because I have been concerned by the tone of several
recent posts made on this board. Kyleaye questions the right of the
Church to decide what people may hunt and is insulted about her spelling
and called an idiot. Harmonia asks for information about the Anointed,
and is called or claims to have been called (and this is a selective
summary) : a fool, a moron, a coward a trollop, a "Theran Prostitute,"
stupid, idiotic, and dumb. Her postings have been called "incoherent
rantings," and she has blatantly been told to "shut up." In fairness,
she has responded by calling people lackeys and serving wenches.

None of these responses has any relevance to the questions originally
posed. In my experience, the personal attack is the last bastion of
response when one is unable to form a reasoned, rational answer. I was
saddened to see how often this was the only answer provided to Kyleaye's
and Harmonia's posts.

Two posts did stand out as quality responses, in that the focused on
substance and were bereft of ad homin attacks. Gishin's post number
17392 was a rational, informative response to Kyleaye's questions.
Father Herenicus Coldraven's post of 17415 also stands as a beacon of
light in the darkness.

If you have taken the time to read thus far, thank you.

I will briefly mention that I have little personal stake in the actual
content of these arguments. I am young and still discovering how Good,
Evil, Chaos, and other forces work in this world. I hope to see more
interesting, compelling debate on these boards.
