Bain has been removed from Mhaldor.

Those of you who know why will realize that this form of wretchedness
tarnishes the glory of Evil. The servants of Evil are drawn from all
mortals who seek to advance life itself.

Likewise, those of you who attempt to use his talents against Mhaldor
will drag yourself down to that level. I urge you to be careful in
accepting his aid, as you will be tarred with his brush.

The First Truth of Evil: What is called evil is simply the drive for
advancement, for greatness. We seek, through discipline and pain, to
spur the advancement of nothing less than sentient life.

Mhaldor will always stand for that which ennobles mortal being, and
against that which degrades us.
