Tenebrus, you yourself admit that you consider yourself a political
student. I'm not quite sure who you stole your theories off, but you are
doing pretty well. Firstly, I happily and utterly accuse you of an
interesting attempt at disillusion just before the event, secondly I do
find this a slightly interesting viewpoint, after all you do come from
the city that served Ashtan so long. But of course, this is no longer
the case so I shall not press that point further.
As my Cyrenian contemporaries has notified you, as I have posted before.
We honour the non-aggression treaty of Mhaldor, a treaty may I remind
you, that was signed after our first war. If your city was more
concerned with no t seeing Cyrenian soldiers on the battlefield then
honouring the treaty does not seem to show it. But it seems you speak of
a Cyrene that has been converted to the darkside Tenebrus. You are quite
welcome to attempt harboring occultists, apostates and and other
ne'dowells in Cyrene, I do after all, know there have been recent
security issues with Shallam's army. But you will find our laws prohibit
such practice and we do not take to it kindly, we have occultists within
our city true, one of them I count currently, but You will find yourself
hard pressed to find a member of the church who could not testify that
he shows very little of the "trait" you seem to be adoring, perhaps it
would be wise next time, to check your properganda and sabre rattling
movements. We have had occultis before you'll note in our history, one
was even a senator of our city so very long ago, after all, Cyrene was
formed of both old members of the church, Ashtanians, even Mhaldorians
joined us. We have become something more than a culmination of our city,
but we remember some things.
We do not spit anywhere near Shallams's ideals, our Mojushai were once
Sentaari, many of our knights were members of the church, many of our
new members are of the church. Some of our members are members of houses
in Shallam. We respect the rules of the church, I personally dislike it,
but then again, I have to say i'm not a great fan of Mhaldor either am
I? A city that seems in losing their partnership, has acted to destroy
others, I think Lord Sartan would have expected more daring than that.
But again, I digress. You fail to factor in one thing, Shallam has
respected our neutrality on this almost as much as Mhaldor has respected
it.
such respect is amazing, considering our differences, but then again,
there are far fewer between us and Shallam than us and Mhaldor. We at
least train together, we have similar ideals. There is a great conflict,
you are absolutely correct tenebrus, in the fact that we do not join
Shallam in their direct crusade against you. But they at least seem to
have the honour in respecting that. What do you do here? Attempt to
cause more chaos and destruction? Do you seek to rile Cyrene into
supporting shallam? Do you wish us to break the treaty first? I had
expected more of a Mhaldorian, perhaps I was wrong to.
We will indeed have Shallam at our side, and I am amazed for it, and in
return we will do our best, as we always do, to put every man in the
field to support them when it is their time again, why? Because We
respect Shallam, we also disagree too, but we most certainly disagree
alot less than we do with Mhaldor. If Shallam feels this is not so, I
could not expect them to come to our aide this time, nor would I want
them to.
I will enjoy seeing you on the field, we Cyrenians make up for our lake
of experience by training. We also would rather, always see the effigy
in Shallam's and our hands than yours. You who would try and lie for the
seven truths.
