Greetings,
I was puzzled when first beginning this communique. I have known of you
simply as a thief, master cutpurse and whatnot as your title suggests. I
must be behind in the workings of this world then, since your last post
seems to claim information that would come from the knowledge of a
General, a leader of combatants. Not quite the profession for a thief, I
would have thought.
Unless your sources are second and third hand information, in which your
post was heresay, but that tis another matter.
Your recent post was quite nicely worded to pretend congratulatory while
being inflammatory, I salute you on a mastery of words, but again, a
thief is expected that.
I am but a fighter, a Combat Knight, so I must profess no desire to
engage you in a duel of words, as surely a charming thief would be able
to defeat me in that arena, even if he must borrow knowledge from other
sources.
Being of no great mind, I must simply focus on a single point of your
previous post, a point that I took to prove that your entire post was
full of hot air.
If you were actually involved in combat, were a general or leader of
combatants, you would know my name. You would know that my blades are
lifted in combat, in defense or offense, daily. You would know that I
stood beside Sir Silas to defend a shrine to Lord Pentharian despite the
odds being great against us. You would know that I lay my life on the
line to fight the invasion of Evil in all corners. And I do this despite
being restricted by politics and treaties. How dare you say that you
havent seen a Cyrenian blade lifted in combat... But then, I guess being
a thief you wouldnt actually be involved in combat which people fought
back, thus I can forgive you on your mistake.
I merely wished to wonder why such a famed individual would speak
without actually knowing what he is talking about, wouldnt that be a
negative to his fame?
Farewell, might my blade find you soon.
