Hail, aspiring decorative tattoo artists of Sapience!
Below I have included two examples of how the tattoos should be
presented for the competition ending on the 13th of Miraman, 450 A.F.
They can be smaller or larger than the examples presented, and hopefully
surpassing them in creativity and artistry! Remember, you can give your
entries, written on a letter, to my assistant Jingo in my shop in Delos.
After you have paid the 1000gp fee, of course.
Example #1
This stylistic rendering of the Polyargos volcano in red and gold ink
seems to glow as if wreathed in flames. A solid black-inked circle acts
as backdrop for the volcano, with a smaller scarlet circle near its
upper right to represent the sun. At the peak of the volcano rears a
detailed red dragon, proudly rampant, leathery wings spread wide and
casting a shadow over volcano's peak.
Example #2
This intricate tattoo illustrates the smiling portrait in black ink of
Vellis, the butterfly collector. Spashes of red, indigo, and pearlescent
white bring clouds of butterflies surrounding his image to brilliant
life as they emerge from an oversized net resting upon the collector's
left shoulder. In the background, the weathered stone archway to Minia
frames the entire scene, decorated with vines of vibrant green ivy.
Regards,
Vinci
Penned by my hand on the 15th of Aeguary, in the year 450 AF.
