Fraud Alert!

It has come to my attention that there are books being run which may not
be totally above board, and I feel I have a duty to bring this to the
attention of the betting public.

I must emphasise of course that the VAST majority of books are run by
totally honest hard-working businessmen/women and are a great source of
entertainment to the public. I do not suggest for one minute that you
should avoid betting, I merely say that you should be careful and ask
yourself a few questions before betting on a particular book. For
instance:

1.Is this book run by a known thief?
2.If the book involves some sort of "draw" rather than, for instance,
the outcome of a FFA or Rampage, will the draw be fair? Who will watch
the draw taking place? Will you, as a punter be allowed to watch the
draw taking place?
3.Is the book run by a known thief?
4. Less likely but still possible. If it does involve a Rampage
/FFA/KOTH etc. and you notice than Manu and Jhui both die to some 18
year old you never heard of before, shout about it! You will have lost
your money but the dodgy booky will not make money off another dodgy
book again unless that 18 year old kicks some serious butt around
Sapience in the next few months.
5.Is the book run by a known thief?

Again, I do not want to discourage you from having a bet, I am just
saying that you should be careful, when you see a book advertised via
Market Channel, graffiti, shouts etc, and be sure to check who the book
is run by.
