The City of Hashan hereby announces to the populace of Achaea, the
inception of our Court of Appeals. If you are an enemy of Hashan, and
wish to resolve your enemy status in our High Court, the following
information applies to you.
To apply to have your case heard by Hashan's Court of Appeals, you must
submit a formal application to the Seneschal of Hashan. Only the person
convicted of an offence can appeal against such conviction or the
sentence resulting from that conviction. Those newly branded an enemy
have six months in which to apply for an appeal. Existing enemies at the
time of the implementation of this program, the 16th of Valnurary,
446AF, shall have six months to apply for an appeal. If you are
interested in appealing your conviction, you may seek more information
from the Ambassador of Hashan, or any presiding Regent. A letter will be
delivered to you by dove, outlining the application process, as well as
what to expect in court and your responsibilities.
While all enemies are free to file an application for appeal, the City
of Hashan reserves the right to refuse to hear an appeal if it is a case
where it is plainly obvious that Hashan Law has been broken and the
court feels it would be a waste of the courts resources to hear the
appeal.
Let the innocent come forth to speak, and have their case considered.
In Service to the Crown,
Merik D'Ischai,
Seneschal
Penned by my hand on the 18th of Valnuary, in the year 446 AF.
