Now, I know I am no longer a Serpent Lord, but I feel the need to
respond to your arrogant little news post.
Don't you dare try and tell these people what a true Serpent Lord is.
A true Serpent Lord would not take all the gold and run, a true Serpent
Lord would not throw a hissy-fit when he was contested by people who
thought he was a liar and quit in a strop (with all the gold)
You lost any right to call yourself a Serpent Lord the day you left them
high and dry. Yes, they have driven many leaders to quit, at least three
of us now reside in Mhaldor where we don't have to put up with the
endless bickering. But when we did it, we did it without robbing our own
people.
You lost any right to high and mighty replies, and you lost any right to
be treated with respect when you chose to leave them the way you did.
May you be hated by the whole of Sapience, may your head be piked at
every city gate, and may you rot alone and unwanted on the pile of your
stolen funds.
You give them ultimatums and try to tell them how to fix themselves, why
did you not do this as a leader? Why when you had the power did you not
start this? Why when you were a leader did you not try to 'fix them'
rather then stand at Hashan cross roads and contemplate how much money
you could make from them?
I tried, other's have tried, and many of us had success. I agree, the
Serpent Lords need a strong and committed leader, and unfortunately for
them, they thought you might be that person this time. You have proven
them wrong, and you have proven yourself weak.
To the Serpent Lords. Yes, I still hate many of you, and yes perhaps a
small part of me took a little delight at your problems, but listen to
me, as you once did. Ignore Shuman, he is a pitiful and bitter little
man, (trust me, I spot my fellow bitter people well) He lays down
'ground rules' to how you should change, but is unwilling to do this
himself? I know you can be great, I know you have it in you, so do it.
Stop bickering amongst each other, stop trying to further the single
person and further the group. But most of all, hunt Shuman, decorate the
grove with his head, surround the statue with his lying, cheating
traitorous face, and move on.
