Most... esteemed.. Vizier,

Don't you think you should settle the never-ending squabbling in your
own city before attempting to direct the actions of the Most Honourable
Qoul of Tir Murann? Think not that I speak for him, but rather from my
own experiences. While natural that you and your pathetic supporters in
the Sentaari and elsewhere, perhaps even the rest of Shallam, would like
to ally yourselves with the most respectable village, you have little to
offer but your expertise in tearing down internal relations.

Let all who hear the words of this "leader" know - Shallam has not the
unity to see through whatever conflict they seek to enter you toward.
You will be on your own the moment someone realizes they weren't
recognized for saving an orphan. Let them fight on their own - they have
little love for you and much for their internal battles. Let them not
slide the attention of their enemies to you.

Lord Riashain a'Bertal

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Scarlatan, in the year 441 AF.
