Mortal,
Again you spin half-truths and choose to attempt to turn the situation
upon others, when the entire problem spun from you. You claim to have
apologized in your prior post, but in reality all you did was put forth
a half apology while also trying to blame Me for the political turmoil
that has taken over Ashtan. You try and extract an apology from Me and
other archons, when the only person who should be apologizing is
yourself. You chose to invade My temple, and chose to claim that the
sanctified ground is merely "rooms". Even after the situation began, how
did your backers respond, they again teleported into the private part of
My temple. I've heard Riashain has pledged support for you, and he
himself entered My temple after this went down and I believe is
supporting your claims on the situation. I think when Ashtan steps back
and looks at what the sides supporting you are saying, the will really
see the web of lies and ambition that are woven there. You may wish to
spin this debate away from your beliefs, but it is those beliefs that
are the very foundation for the problem that has erupted. You chose to
gain recognition and fame at the expense of something a divine in your
own city held important. It comes down to respect, and as you continue
to demonstrate, you have none. You hide behind the word "freedom" and
use it to protect yourself against any reprisal and define that you have
the right to do anything you wish. My departure did not hurt Ashtan, but
the lust for power that jumped upon the opportunity may have hurt the
Bastion. Please feel free to point out the posting that I made to the
entire city where I berated you or your decision, or the posting that I
wanted this to become a citywide issue. You will not find one...
Erhon was kept in the loop about the problem, and has even verified the
amount of whining you put up last time we had issues. You continually
choose to thumb your nose at those who have asked for some semblance of
a change, and in doing so has ripped your city in half. As any council
member can verify, you were doing entirely well in this situation as far
as coming to resolution UNTIL others informed you it could be used for
political gain. You were removed from the city, and while I won't make a
conclusion on if it was valid, you are now seeking apologies from those
who removed you. Yet, you have never made any such apologies yourself,
only to Ashtan and only enough to save your political backside from the
fire. You have played this situation masterfully, and from your last
post, I can see you will continue to do so until you have run off all
those who oppose your view on the council.
I have no doubt the people of Ashtan are strong, as I still and will
continue to lend My support to the Houses I patron in all forms. I have
seen the might the city holds, but I have also seen the tactics used at
times by individuals within it be they political or militarily. I
sincerely hope the people of Ashtan are even stronger than you portray,
for as you continue to turn on your allies or exploit them, you will
soon find yourself standing alone against quite an onslaught.
I'm sure you will post another response that will be filled with more
rhetoric so you can return to the city, and I look forward to reading
it. It is a shame the people of Ashtan turned on some Archons who were
simply trying to right a situation, but I've been informed that all the
facts were not presented or twisted to use against them. I think you
will find they are far more dedicated to the Bastion than you would like
the citizens to believe, and choose to legislate as opposed to claim
power. You see, mortal, I view you for what you really are...and that is
a politician whose political ambitions have overcome his emotions. I
teach My soldiers to use their emotions as a weapon, but your pride and
ego have spun far above what can again return you to a position where
you can help the Bastion. I call upon you again to define "freedom" and
return the Bastion to its former glory, with perhaps a focus more from
"doing what we want" to doing what is good for the whole.
This will be My last words on the subject here, as I am communicating
with those who contact Me privately just well enough. For those in the
Bastion who wish to do so, I am available when you contact Me privately.
