Sir Aegis,

You grossly misinterpret my intentions, sir. I was perfectly content
arguing privately with you but after much debate we were no
closer to reaching an understanding. My previous post was not
an attempt to argue, but an attempt to apologize and hopefully
convince you to apologize to Ashtan in return. I do not expect
an apology from you to me, but perhaps an apology from you to
the city you once called your home. An apology to ease the
suffering of those that cannot understand why you gave gone,
still show loyalty to you and to the city, and to those that feel you
have abandoned Ashtan.

You make strong statements in an attempt that you have suffered
for the betterment of the city. You say that your shrines have
been attacked because you have defended Ashtan. Sir, every
Ashtani has bled for her. We have all made sacrifices upon
the altar of freedom, we have all suffered, we will all suffer
again. As I have stated before, if you tear down the walls of
Ashtan you will find another wall, a wall of men, the Ashura.
Snipers and assassins of the Shadowsnakes strike at the
tenderest of enemy forces. The Warlocks of the Rising Phoenix
shrine a bright light of hope across the city. The Occultists, the
scholars, the wielders of Chaos, can strike fear into the hearts
of the bravest warriors.

We will never all agree but we must all work to protect the
city. I am very sorry that the shrines your followers have
erected have been attacked but I cannot and will not forget
the lives and the sacrifice of the countless "mortals" in
defense of the same principles.

I cannot stress enough that I meant no harm toward you
or your followers. I'm afraid to say that you are not in
my head, nor do you know what I was thinking at the
time. I did astralform in your temple, but not to avoid
death from your order members. You claim that totems
are a clear sign of intrusion, however, even your public
temple has a death trap waiting for the most unfortunate
of explorers to discover. After I warned the citizens you
made a play at my intelligence which did lead me to
believe that you did not have much remorse for the
ignorant Ashtani who were clearly unaware that one
wrong turn in your public temple could lead to death. You
did slay me for my statements in violation of Ashtani law
and I was offended by this. Erhon may have dismissed it
but I took it very seriously then dropped it later.

My words were "essence powered mortals" and with
exception to the almighty Pentad I stand firm to
this opinion. But this should not be a fight between
opinions. This should be a fight for Ashtan and what
is best for her. I have offered you my apology, sir, and
can only hope and only wish that you offer one to the
Bastion. I am deeply sorry that Ashtan has suffered
for these past months and I must sincerely apologize
for the heartache that she and her citizens have had to
endure. Ashtan, you have my deepest apology and I
can assure you that I will do all in my power to
prevent this from ever happening again.
