Jaizsur Ta'sa,
While you do raise intelligent points, your biggest "excuse" for
Ashtan's actions is the fact that Ashtan was raided by Dyzanru and his
comrades. However, you failed to mention the countless times that
Ashtani citizens have raided Mhaldor's icons, raided Mhaldor, killed
Mhaldorian denizens and teachers, and constantly caused problems for
Mhaldor even when Mhaldor was attempting to set up treaties with Ashtan.
Mhaldor's recent history with Ashtan has been the equivalent of naming
Mhaldor: "Ashtan's little brother." Mhaldor assisted Ashtan in acquiring
the Effigy from countless games of Capture the Flag, only known as the
biggest competition that exists between the city-states. The Naga have
not been allowed to steal from Ashtani citizens for a long time, which,
of course, was my main reason for leaving the Naga.
Your precious tutor has probably not been killed in years, which is why
it is so hard to see him die. But Mhaldor has constantly been harassed
by Ashtan and I believe that Mhaldor has suffered enough one-sided
alliances and agreements with your city. I am glad to see Mhaldor
finally standing up against Ashtan, whether they have a chance against
"Eleusishallashtan" or not.
Clearly not sincerely,
Yee Tsao, Enmity of Ashtan
