Tsao,
I think you must truly live and experience that which is Ashtan to fully
understand her workings. You make rude and hostile comments about
the Ashura when many in our city consider them to be heroes. I
consider you to be an intelligent and I have had many dear times with
you outside of the Political realm.
You make the call to the Ashura to have a purpose. Many houses in
Sapience have a hard time finding a purpose. Try to tell me the true
purpose of the Serpentlords and see how difficult it is. But tear down
the Great Wall of Ashtan and you will find another wall. A wall of men.
The Ashura. The Ashura have always dedicated their lives to the
protection of Ashtan and its citizens, and I have personally assessed
this
to be their one true goal.
The recent icon hostility has led to much resentment against Ashtan and
the Ashura. But I assure you this was not without warrant. Ashtan sat
idly by as members of Mhaldor's COUNCIL raided Ashtan and killed
its citizens. Killed the very tutor which has taught our young ones for
centuries. Such acts from a Mhaldorian council member can be seen
as an act of war. Not once have you seen a member of Ashtan's
council transgress against Mhaldor proper. If Mhaldor has no control
over Dyzanru and his comrades then I see little hope for peace in the
future.
These are just my opinions from the eyes of an observer but I feel
that they should make Ashtan's intentions clear. I do enjoy the company
of many Mhaldorians and would rather have Mhaldor as an ally
rather than an enemy. But not when their council members raid my city.
Sincerely,
Jaizsur Ta'sa
