Gentle Viera,
As an esteemed personage in this realm, you have both my respect and
fond admiration, but I simply cannot allow you to poke fun at my good
friends, the Sentinels, in such a cavalier manner. Just because they
breed like bunnies is no reason to suggest that they're overpopulating
the continent, or that that sheer amount of people is too many to even
contemplate agreeing on a theme. Unlike your levelheaded seven and a
half. Shame, for such an insinuation!
With that said, I would like to welcome Kirrh and the rest of
Crystalline Circle to our most noble and solemn competition. I must
admit, that when I first told Ainia that we should let other Houses
think that they might actually have a chance, I had no idea just how
amusing the result would be. For instance, take Tiax and Kuntar... oh
the hours of laughter I've had at their belief that any Mother Goddess
would pay attention to the CIJ. As a matter of fact, we Sylvans actually
briefly considered dressing as the CIJ for the contest, just for a hoot!
But then we realized that we'd only be funnier than they, and put their
House out of business.
Now. I've had my laughter, but I am concerned. You see, it seems that
this level of attention is giving the CIJ a sense of self-esteem for the
first time in history. And it's only going to be that much of a worse
blow for them when they are cruelly defeated at the hands of the Costume
Themey goodness of the Sylvanic Fellowship. So it's not too late,
Tiax... Kuntar. You can back out now, save yourselves the humiliation,
and run home to your mothers. Who, as we all know, are the Shadowsnakes.
They're not very funny either.
In the meantime, in updating the list of our "competition"... oh my,
that's funny! Pardon me. I announce that those who have formally
accepted the challenge are: The Spiritwalkers, The Ty Beirdd, The
Ancient Circle of Druids, and the Crystalline Circle. I'd mention the
CIJ but since they've not learned to send messages yet, I'm still
unclear if they wish to participate! Poor dears...
Good luck to all! And by "luck", I mean "the fortitude to refrain from
mass suiciding upon realizing your wrenching defeats."
