A Fond Farewell

Dear Uncle Flair,
It saddens me that I have to depart the Revolutionaries, especially on
such short notice. I have been a member of the movement since I was a
novice, though you will remember that I never adopted the mark. I have
learned much in those years, and so have the organizations to which I am
loyal.
You are no doubt aware of the reasons for my leaving, or are able to
guess them. I still have no large disagreement with your ultimate goal,
only those things which you are doing to achieve that goal. I still hope
for the return of Babel, though I have no faith that you are acting any
more in accordance with His will than anyone else.
Rather than waiting to be removed, I have saved you the trouble and left
the clans of my own volition. As souvenirs of my time within the Babel
movement, I have taken copies of your posts, your membership lists,
several years of organizational logs, and several hundred thousand
rather attractive gold sovereigns. The Occultists will be pleased to
have all of the above, though, indeed, they have been privy to your
activity through me for some time now.
Your Humble Nephew,
Apollodorus
