Erisycthon,

Contrary to your public post, you obviously need to be told you're
careless. Is it not one of the basic general rules of combat to be aware
of your surroundings? You, obviously, were not. You recklessly entered
the situation, and even if it hadn't been in a garden room, such said
recklessness could have caused more harm than good.

Furthermore, contrary to your belief, Oakstone WOULD have known.
Diligent forestals who patrol Nature would have found your holocaust,
and we have this nifty little skill called NATURALISM to tell us who
committs such horrofic crimes. You say you know forestals, but you don't
even know what skills we have - shows what you really know.

I find it amusing that other than your reckless actions and lack of
knowledge concerning forestal skills, that you can't READ, either.
Conor's story was about his youth - Oakstone laws concerning
overharvests have long since changed.

Before you spout off about how you died to a Northreach fire, and how
you tried to help with a raid on Eleusis, please remember that many
people have died to forest fires. Personally, I've died three times to
large wilderness fires, and I died a grand total of fourteen times
trying to put out the fires from the wyrms when they were loose across
the surface lands. I know people who have done more, lost more. A single
fire and dying to Cain in a raid really -isn't- saying much, especially
because defense of Eleusis is not defense of Nature - it's defense of an
organisation, even if that organisation if Nature-based.

I have also seen forestals who are much closer to Nature than you could
ever dream of being, accidentally harm Nature. I have seen how much it
hurt them, but they didn't complain, because they understand what they
did and the consequences of such, mistake or not.

The past does not matter when it comes to punishments for things that
happen NOW. You harmed Nature, you were punished for it. Your punishment
fit the crime of what you did, no matter what you believe.

Oakstone does not lord over anyone. Oakstone serves and protects Nature,
end of story.

Get over it.

Smooches!
