I'd like to know, Najara, where was this perfect Creation? Was it in the
soulless Dwarves? Or in the Underworld where the undead reigned before
Chaos ever entered our world? Creation may have been more orderly, but
it was not perfect. Chaos maybe damaging, but there are damaging things
right here in Creation. Take the Tsol'teth, who would have destroyed our
aboveground world were it not for the leadership and faith of Nicator, a
human descended from Chaos.
On that topic, Chaos can create as well as destroy, and has on several
occasions. Just like Nicator, all humans are descended from Chaos,
including those orphans you Shallamese care so much about. Or the
treekin, born of Nature and Chaos. What part of the world is threatened
by them? Or Bopalopia? Shallam is opposed to Bopalopia because it is a
product of Chaos, the evil "going to destroy the world" Chaos. Now,
maybe it's just me, but anyone who feels threatened by the citizens of
Bopalopia is going to be in a lot of trouble if something dangerous ever
shows up.
