Chaos and free will

Chaos is not the same as the spark of life, the soul, the driving force
behind existence. If we are to believe the Mythos (a very big if) then
certainly races such as the tsol'aa and dwarves were created by the Gods
before the dispersal of Entropy and Discord through Creation.
However just as the tsol'aa lose a part of their being when they are
removed from the forests, I believe that so too would humanity, indeed
all mortal races, lose an essential part of themselves were they
separated from Chaos. Life without Chaos would be like sleep without
dreams.
Do we mortals have a purpose? Can Ayar tell us what He had planned for
the mortal races He created? As a mortal I believe that I very much have
a vested interest in the subject of Chaos, as Chaos is what gives me the
potential to choose my own reason for being. Without it, would we be
able to choose to do anything other than what the Divine, or any being
more powerful than ourselves, tell us?
With that said, just as I have a great respect for Chaos, I also
respect, and make use of, the element of fire. This does not mean I go
walking about wreathed in flames, however, or would wish to see the
world bathed in burning magma. Fire is bad in excess! This does not mean
it is not good, and necessary, in moderation.
Respectfully,
