Scion Incredibility

The Meaning Of Sentient And Denizen Life

I begin with the thought that theory is acceptable to the mortal mad
mind first, then the wise, then the average, then the fool.

The First Truth is where we shall begin! "What is called evil is simply
the drive for advancement, for greatness. We seek, through discipline
and pain, to spur the advancement of nothing less than sentient life."
Hail, know that these are words spoken by our Lords and by the
Immortality They possess, in Their infinite wisdom.

Sentient and denizen life is generally a seperation used for the
dictation of intelligence to stupidity, and passion to stolidity. A
denizen leads no extraordinary life, nor is available to speak on the
same level of intelligence of a sentient life form. When spoken to they
are placid, calm, and know of only a few things to speak of until
passion strikes them. Intelligence is subjective to most, but within
Sapience there is a thing in which I will call "Scion Incredibility".

Scion Incredibility happens on many occasions of importance to history.
For instance only recently in el'Jazira, Sheik Abd el'Salam shouted for
the help of sentient beings in order to help save his son from the
torture of quicksand. Naturally, upon this point, the denizens of
el'Jazira became aware of interaction with sentient life and began to
thus begin their greater part in the world. In its simple definition,
Scion Incredibility is the "rubbing off" of sentient intelligence upon
denizen life, thus breathing into them their second reason for
existence.

Their first reason for existence is the sustenance of the Divine. Simply
put: essence. Essence is used for various things by Orders and Divine,
and cannot be gone without. Denizen life is inferior to that of sentient
life, thus, murdering denizens is far more acceptable than sentient life
on the level of modesty.

So why is it that sentient life is worth far greater an amount of
essence when compared to a denizen of equal or greater fortitude? Well,
we must explore the differences in sentient to denizen life to unveil
that.

Sentients are vulnerable to a great many things that denizens do not
concern themselves often with. Afflictions may be placed upon sentients
by denizens, but not vice versa. Denizens, it should be noted, may
easily afflict another denizen, thus, the idea of murder and strife
between denizens is easily acceptable.

Sentients are capable of a greater amount of thought and free will,
thus, are open to limitless possibilities. Denizens are limited to
single actions and simple minded stupidity. A sentient has many forms of
life available to him or her in terms of beliefs, class, and racial
form--while a denizen making a change in any of those categories would
endure a lifetime of hardship to shape it. A sentient, may, if she so
wishes, use a Dagger of Reincarnation and change her form into that of a
Rajamala from that of a Human, leave her city and never speak to her
family again. How often has a denizen been seen doing so?

Ever since the beginning of Scion Incredibility, there had before it,
come the great change that no one has yet to realize. It is either that,
or sentient life fears that by speaking the reality of mortality will
cause them to become denizen once again. Upon the collapse of the
Seleucarian Empire, the mortality across Sapience had been changing into
two classes of easy difference--sentient and denizen.

The sentients went and formed cities, made history, and then slowly
slipped away into the stupor that is denizen life. Take for instance
Sahart, who founded Shallam but then soon became as useless as the
waiter at the restaurant named after him. There are some sentients that
are not so weak as to let go of the sentient drive for advancement, but
they are few.

Sentient life is superior to denizen life in that a sentient may be
favored with becoming included into an Order, the ability to heal one's
body miraculously through herbs and elixers, the ability to preserve
one's soul, Pray For Salvation, telepathic communication and
recognition, among many other things so vast it borders on too long and
tiring to list.

Denizens do not belong in Orders beyond that of serving positions of one
sort, thus, librarians, guardians, simple things. They may be influenced
by the Divine to have subjective intelligence when They so desire, of
course, but are not naturally "sentient" for all periods in which they
are present. They cannot offer essence to their Divine, and thus, rob
their own Order of the very reason the Divine are able to observe most
of Their power over mortality.

Denizens do not heal using elixers or herbs in the same fashion that
sentient life does, especially in the common case of being hunted. When
a sentient life is slowly beating to death a denizen, (the only course
of action available to a sentient life when inflicting Oppression and
Suffering in the form of Death,) the denizen does not heal excepting
rare occasions. The sentient life form being more fragile, even the
Dragons, must heal constantly when facing an equal lifeform in terms of
essence amount. (Sentient Dragons, it should be noted, weigh far more in
amounts of essence than any of the denizen Greater Dragons.)

The ability to preserve one's soul means that as a sentient, you will
not be subjected to the idle boredom that is required to remain within
realms at all times, just as denizens do. They stare blankly and do
nothing, or the same routine as they know to do. Sometimes when Scion
Incredibility strikes them they wake from their stupor, but it is this
difference in preserving one's soul to refresh one's actions and
revitalize the energy within one's mind that allows the intelligence
denizen life shall never have all of its present while within Sapience.

Praying For Salvation is what one might call the "favored" way of
returning to Sapience. We all know that denizens return as does sentient
life, but their process is much longer and taxing. Ours is simple and
much more concentrated upon returning--thus, our purpose lies not in
Suffering ourselves to the point of destruction, but to prevail against
that which has Oppressed us and in turn inflict what we may. (An
indication that the things done while living are more important than
dead.) For what reason do we have this, and the denizens do not? Class.
We are greater, for we are intended for greater things. No single mortal
life could possiblity perfect itself into pure Evil from only one
life--and thus, the Divine in Their infinite wisdom have granted us the
knowledge of our demise to advance from it.

Telepathic communication and recognition is easy between sentient life
for we are all on the same portion of the great circle in which the
Divine created to ensure Their sustenance.

What does Scion Incredbility say of sentient life? We Oppress denizens
and other sentient life alike in much the same way, for the greater
importance of Divine, for we are chosen by the natural course of our
creation. Sentients alone Ascend from mortal coil to become Divinity
ever since the dissolution of the Empire. Sentient life chosen to Ascend
is the reasoning for existence in Achaea. Sentient, denizen, and Divine
shape the course of events in sentient life to recognize perfection
great enough to warrant an Ascension.
