Your Salvation

My salutations to Goldberry the 'Saved' and her allies in the light.
I fail to see the salvation offered by your Good ideals. Your salvation
is merely a state of mind. Nothing has changed but the way you think.
Why then, have your thoughts the power to save you, when they turn away
from the true path? Goldberry, it is not my intent to insult you, but
it's my belief that you are gravely wrong.
Your soul, and the souls of those who think like you, are in grave
jeopardy. Follow Evil, follow Suffering, follow Opression, follow
Battle. Slowly, you will feel a hardness spread across your soul, an icy
blackness bloom within your heart. Slowly your soul will be strong,
unbreakable. Your heart will be forged of invincible steel, in the fires
of conflict and pain. Then will you know -true- Salvation.
Compassion, Light, and Good breed peace. Peace breeds weakness, as the
minds of the peaceful grow complacent and their strength falls slack.
The ideals of Combat and Evil call for us to constantly improve
ourselves. The sky is no limit, but a minor milestone along the road to
perfection. Good teaches one to improve one's self only as far as is
necessary to help one another. If a community of interdependant
individuals is strong, how much stronger is a community of individuals
that stand strong alone?
Turn from the Light, Goldberry, before you are irretrievably lost.
You already walk a razor-thin line. Step not towards the soft side of
Compassion and Light, but towards Battle and Evil.
For all the souls already lost,
Sorrowfully yours,
Vicar Arelas Coldraven
