Grand Master Laergon, he was one of the founding secretaries of the
Kharon who built the empire that exists only in legend now... once said
to me, that he not only supported my trek for the Evil Monks but would
go with me, because he believed that when current leadership no longer
functioned, a it behooved a True Monk to stay true to his or her nature.
A True Monk who embodies the passion and energy of the Enlightened
Forefathers, would look upon a failed experiment and see it for what it
is, rather than try to make excuses for it.
The Kharon would never have come to be, if the founders had looked upon
what they felt was a failed experiment in the Sentaari and just tried
their creeds change to suit the times.
I tip my hat to the Enlightened Monks who continue The Way down their
individual paths, and I bow with all humility to the Forefathers who
have given us the pearls of wisdom with which we live.
Let us all lend a moment of silence to the honor of their passing, for
the time of the Great Empires...have passed.
Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Lupar, in the year 401 AF.
