Simply put, the forests do not belong to forestals. The forestals are
charged with the protection and care of the forests. Thus the herbs do
not belong to the grove owner. He or she is not honourably supposed to
make a living off the spoils of the woods. Yes even forestals should
have a modicum of honour. This is not about sales & profit, so why is it
important to the tiny little apprentice Holz? Simply put, he profits
from the forests. His herbs and pocketbook are more important to him
then the protection of the forests. Don't worry lil Holz. You're not
alone there are hundreds more out there with exactly the same views as
you.
