The price of doing business in Shallam

Shopkeepers of Shallam,
It has come to my attention that a number of key economic
indicators are predicting an exceptionally high increase in the
cost of doing business within the Jewel of the East in the very
near future. As a frequent visitor to many of the finest shops
in the realms I can attest to the time, effort and other valuable
resources that must be invested to keep profits above expenses in
this risky endeavor. So in this regard, you may all consider this
prediction to be a critical element in revising your current business
plans. I strongly urge those shopkeepers that hold no ill-will
towards Mhaldor, yet find themselves doing business within the
confines of Shallam, to take this opportunity to look elsewhere for
mercantile opportunities. I've heard that Ashtan, Cyrene and Hashan
are all far more likely to provide you with the kind of atmosphere
that is conducive for successful trade of goods and services. Those
who choose not to heed this advice and continue to peddle their wares
within Shallam will very likely find the cost of doing business
in such an unsafe atmosphere extremely expensive indeed.
Respectfully,
