Occultists, and your misunderstanding

'Tis people like you, with ignorance, and assumptions, that make times
like the Burning Times happen.
Frankly, I am unsure why other Houses do not allow Occultist rogues
among them, but that does not concern me. Where you are mainly wrong is
in the fact that we 'do not allow rogue Occultists'. Now it is true,
that we have denied some entrance to our guild, but with good reason.
Mulisha, for example, was not the kind of material that would make a
good Occultist. Now whats this?! Aye, I speak of 'elitism'. Alas, what
is 'elitism' than the pursuit of betterment of ones self or an
organization. Perhaps a better word to describe this situation, is
'perfectionism'. Why is it, that the Occultists have thrived, succeeded,
and managed to accomplish so much throughout time over existance? It is
because we have strived to better ourselves through the expulsion of
those not suited to be among us. This does not mean we are a bunch of
stuck up jerks, however. We indeed seek to better ourselves, but in the
process do not neglect our Apprentices. When one of our Apprentices, or
a rogue Occultist that seeks entry to our guild, is struggling, we
usually help them, teach them, and in the end they are better. What is
wrong with this philosophy? Is it 'politically incorrect'? Frankly,
being politically 'correct' or 'incorrect' is but a viewpoint, as is
'good' and 'evil'. Some may call us evil, some may call us good. We do
not see ourselves as evil, nor good, rather as scholars and followers of
Chaos. As per your saying that an Occultist does not have to like
Chaos... what in the Logos' name gave you that idea? If you have not
noticed, many of our abilities involve Chaotic elements. As you stated,
our Chaos entities... what was that word before 'entities' again? Also,
your saying that priests do not like hell and demons, yet they summon up
visions of hell.. aye, this is true. But are they worshipping them? I
think not. There is a difference between utilizing and following
something, perhaps you should try to remember this before attempting a
mildly thought out post.

You are correct though, when you state 'THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE'
about guild uniqueness. Change has befallen our lands, which forces us
to further adapt. In our case, we must scrutinize entries to our guild
further in order to protect ourselves and our interests. We are all
mortal, and all mortals seek but to in the end better themselves. The
Occultists have simply taken it further than others, perhaps. Tolerance,
my friend, opens the door to betrayal. Why put yourself in harms way,
when you know a method of protecting yourself? 'Tis all in good logic.
