Greetings,

I address this to the esteemed members of the Order of Darkness.

It has come to My attention that during the aforementioned emergence of
My daughter, while My mortal Order was frantically trying to find ways
to cure this plague, certain of your number were accusing them of
maliciously spreading the disease, that they alone were immune. I trust
they were acting on their own accord, you have but to affirm this to My
people.

Lies were spread concerning the Nerai possibly poisoning the river to
whatever end. You all now know the truth of what truly occurred, and I
need not go into details as to precisely how a God is birthed, so I will
not go further upon this, other than to say that it requires a fair bit
of concentration. It was said that the Nerai were immune to the disease.
This also was not true. In fact, due to the concern the Nerai had for
the rivers, and the devastating effect this was having upon mortalkind,
they were walking the rivers day and night, attempting to find a cure.
Thus, almost every member of My noble Order was infected with the
plague. It was not realized by the Divine involved in the emergence that
the rivers were plagued, and the first mighty act of My daughter
Kastalia was to banish the sad epidemic.

I do trust that the people spreading these words were doing so in fear
and panic, and not on the orders of your organization. Let the Nerai
know of this, and all will be well. If not, remember the conclusion of
the previous meetings of the Ocean and of Darkness.
