Yes I AM infected for those wondering. I decided to test out a cure
myself instead of having someone else do it, and the cure didn�t work.
So all of the following I know first hand except for the section at the
bottom. If I borrowed and information from a post you made, please know
I did it as a sign of respect and appreciation and not to steal
anything. Thank you for letting me borrow what you have posted.

PPS. I apologize if it is Semi-hard to read, my scribe is still having a
bad day.

The following is what is known as of the 25th of Aeguary, 394 years ATF.

A Plague has struck the rivers Urumbra, Pach., and Zaphar as well as the
many lakes around the world, specifically Lake Muurn. This Plague starts
at the source of the rivers and forms into a cloud there. Next there
forms sludge on the river and dead fish start to appear. Along with the
dead fish is black kelp.

INFECTED BODIES OF WATER:
1) Urubamba River
2) Pach. River (Both sections)
3) Zaphar River
4) Lake Muurn
5) Bitterflow River

A) This Plague can be caught in many ways:
a. Standing in a poisoned river room
b. Touching or eating the dead fish
c. Eating or touching infected kelp
d. Contact with someone infected.
i. Contact means physically giving them something�so far emotes (sorry
if that is OOC) don�t seem to spread it.
ii. There may still be others not known yet�.
B) Where can this Plague be found?
a. EVERYWHERE!!!! So watch who you speak with and what they give you.
Especially look out for the symptoms.
C) How can you avoid getting it?
a. Reflections seem to repel the symptoms and maybe the infection as
well.
b. It is guessed that shields might work too, but not sure yet ~ Someone
test this maybe?
c. Avoid people showing the symptoms!
d. Do not buy kelp off of the market channel!
e. Do not touch or interact with any dead fish
f. Do not harvest or interact with any poisoned kelp
g. Do not stay in the water of any river, and avoid the water whenever
possible!
D) What are the symptoms?
a. Blackouts
b. Mucous and blood running from orifices
c. Flying into a rage
d. Itchiness
e. Nausea
f. Touching a fish can:
i. Cause broken legs
ii. Boils on skin that leak puss
g. See below for Symptom messages
E) What to do if infected?
a. Please announce it on your channels so that those who aren�t know to
keep away for now.
i. When announcing, please make it so people see it.
ii. Please stay away from common public rooms that non- infected people
may visit, such as guildhalls, city gathering places, and probably
cities themselves.
F) What are the cures so far?
a. As of now there are no garunteed cures. The following have been
suggested:
i. Setting yourself on fire � DOES NOT WORK!!!
ii. The Ineal Flower � DOES NOT WORK!!!
iii. Dying and coming back to life - DOES NOT WORK!!!
iv. Eating a �good� kelp ~ DOES NOT WORK!!!
v. Eating Irid Moss ~ DOES NOT WORK!!!
vi. Applying a fool tarot card ~ DOES NOT WORK!!!

Next are some facts that people have messaged me. I do not know if they
are all true or not, if you can prove them false then please send me a
message saying so.

1) Im not sure if rajas are basically immune or not, but I know a raja
who ate a fish, licked and kissed the sludge, ate a poisoned kelp, and
stayed in the room with infected people and didn�t get infected and
stayed around for around 6-7 days with nothing happening" ~~~ Seems some
rajas may have an immunity to it?

2) Plague is not on diagnose ~ Is Confirmed

3) Muurn is contaminated ~ Has been confirmed

4) Weirds are growing ill ~ If you can confirm please tell me so.

5) Reflections seem to ward off damage from the plague symptoms but do
not seem to prevent contagion ~ this one I am not sure of�I think it
MIGHT ward them off.

6) The sludge in the water is that of a parasitic plant, most likely
algae (more or less confirming with kullus' suggestion in the public
news). While algae in the water is normal, the amounts of algae in the
water are also unusually high.

7) The amount of algae is so high, that upon dissecting a dead fish that
was provided, he concludes that while the fish was infected by the
disease, it had in fact died not even from a lack of air in the water as
we suspected but by the sheer thickness of the algae growth.

8) Jirken says, "Either the parasitic plants in the water have begun to
grow too rapidly for nature to deal with, or the water itself has
thinned out and left not enough to cope with the otherwise harmless
natural occurance." ~ numbers 6 and 7 were said by Jirken, A Mob in
Mhaldor (I believe).

9) Zaphar, the Old Man of the River yells, "Lord! Something strange is
happening!" ... "The water, it grows warm!" ... "The tear is... it's

10) Ephialta, Keeper of the Flame that represents the lifeforce of the
Zaphar said that if the stuff wasn't removed from the river, she and the
flame would die. The flame itself is nearly quenched. ~ Taken form the

11) Symptoms affect you roughly every 2-3 achaean days, but some lapses
have been known to last up to 5 before symptoms occurred again.

12) In Cyrene Altaca, the butcher, has come down with the plague. ~ So
we know that SOME Mobs can get infected.

13) The plague does not seem to have a set infection time. Some people
shows symptoms right away (within a minute or 2) other don�t show any
for up to a day or more.

BELOW ARE SOME OF THE SYMPTOME MESSAGES. (WARNING IF YOU HAVE
REFLEXES!!!):












A rancid stench invades your nostrils and you gag reflexively. Your skin
turns a sickly shade of green, and you feel nauseated and dizzy.

Rivulets of blood drip from your nose, ears, eyes, and mouth, forcing
you to gag until you cough up a mouthful of thick, stringy fluid.

Your vision blurs drastically until the world around you disintegrates
into an array of dull shades, which then gradually fade to black. ~~~
Apply Epidermal or Touch Mindseye

Viscous beads of rancid-smelling sweat roll thickly down your face,
encrusting your skin with a thin, crumbling layer of purged bodily
fluids. ~~~ scrub

Frantically reaching for a maddening itch beneath your knee, you
accidentally tear off a yellowish swathe of rotting, infected skin,
rupturing the fresh, swollen lesion underneath and allowing it to expel
a burning, noxious fluid down over your calf. ~~~ Apply Mending

Reaching up to investigate the warm wetness sliding down over your ear,
you pull your fingertips away to discover freshly coagulating blood
mingled with thick, opaque mucous dripping out from within your hearing
canal.

A sudden itch drives you mad and you start to scratch at your skin. As
your fingertips pass over your tender flesh, large flakes of skin break
away and drift to the ground, covered in blood.
