Beloved Citizens Of Sapience,

It is on occasions of dire necessity like this one, that we must all
band together for the sake of Sapience. We are facing two desperate
situations: Firstly this awful plague, which is proving itself highly
infectious and may yet decimate our population, secondly, the
destruction of our rivers.

As our rivers are consumed, and plant life dies, we will see a second
disaster, as the survivors of the first, scarred by the ravages of
plague, die of cruel hunger as our crops are blighted and consumed by
foul disease.

My fellow mortals... I have hearby started two funds for the benefit of
Sapience. The Theran Hospital charity - for the immediate building of a
Hospital with which to treat sufferers of the plague, and research its
cure, and the 'Rhadamanthys Coldraven Clear Water Appeal'.

I *URGE* you all to donate immediately. We can only save ourselves if we
pull together - abandoning all xenophobia, all racial distinctions, and
embracing our common mortality.

I would also like to request another boon. We are afflicted by a plague
- both of ourselves and our waters. I have heard rumours that Lord
Nereaos's followers are immune to the plague, even that the Lord of the
Wide Seas HIMSELF originated it out of boredom and disgust with
mortality. Might a Nereaid post here to quell such idle gossip, to
support my fund, and perhaps to tell us all exactly What the Master of
Flowing Waters does to aid us.
