Aliens....

Aelyn and others have written very intelligent posts in response to
yours. But to be honest, I sat there reading your post, scratching my
head..what in the world does Vertani have to do with Tiamat holocausting
the forest? There is no connection...none. Your time as a sylvan may
have given you some amount of understanding of what we forestals are
about, but not much. Most especially druids. We are mostly cityless
individuals who do not take part in city politics. The Vertani issue
turned into a city war for the most part. I took no part in the Vertani
battles and I am not ashamed of that. My concern for the last 150 some
odd years has been the welfare of the forests and other natural areas. I
think I can speak for many of my guild in that if and when the Vertani
posed a real threat to the forests such as Tiamat has, we would have
taken to battle against them the same as we have against Tiamat and all
others over the decades who have decided to harm Nature. It is slightly
more than disingenuous of you to attack forestals for not getting
involved in a political war that was just as encouraged by mortals as it
was by the aliens, when you do not seem too upset about destruction of
large sections of forest.

And Gabrar...this was an issue that you had as a member of the Druid
Guild, and I can see where your thinking stems from. But Oakstone cannot
....repeat ...cannot...by order of the Garden, enemy people for attacks
on other people. It is still amazing to me how little people, especially
former longtime forestals, know about Oakstone, nor bother to even find
out. Your insinuation that some -alleged- forestals are just as guilty
as Tiamat for harming the forests by their acts of invading
Mhaldor...ignorant! Should we forestals, get together and herb ban
Mhaldor, Gabrar, for the acts of Tiamat, and of all the Mhaldorian
thieves who love to prey on forestals? Because that is the logic that
you follow, it appears. We have more reason than that, and we do not
hold innocent people to account for the acts of a couple idiots. But we
do what we can to hold the guilty accountable.
