The Accolade of Knighthood

Hail Sapience,
The Accolade of Knighthood may only be bestowed upon an individual by
the Guildmaster of a Knight Guild, who has been appointed by his or her
fellow Knights to represent them to the realm. The Accolade of
Knighthood will only be bestowed upon an individual once they have
proven themselves worthy of it.
In order to prove yourself worthy of Knighthood, you do not simply
complete a list of requirements. Your actions in all aspects of life
will be scrutinized, and when the Knights of your Guild feel you are
ready, you will be Knighted.
Proclaiming yourself a Knight does not make you a Knight. Indeed, it
only further proves that you are unworthy of the Accolade of Knighthood.
You insult those who have proven themselves worthy of, and have been
rightfully rewarded with, the Accolade of Knighthood. You show the true
Knights of this realm no respect, and as such, fail to live by the
Ideals of a Knight.
Honour, Chivalry, Valour, Integrity, Devotion, Respect. These are only a
few of the Ideals of a Knight. You may wear the title of Sir or Lord, of
Lady or Dame. However, you will wear it with the knowledge that you do
not deserve it. You will wear it knowing that your mere existence is an
insult to those you so desperately long to be counted among.
In the name of Valour,
Sir Antonius Agarwaen,
Inquisitor of Heretics,
Knight of the Paladins and the Elysian Order.
Post Scriptum - Please message me any sarcastic comments, insults, or
replies. I'm sure the people of this realm have no wish to hear them.
