Amnesty: To tasur'ke

Greetings!

This post is actually directed to the village of Tasur'ke, on behalf of
Ashtan. It's an offer for amnesty and peace.

During Ashtan's war against the Vertani, we have made it a point that we
weren't waging a war against the villages that allied with the Vertani.
Despite you declaring hostilities against us we didn't declare them
back, we've tried to our best to not kill your villagers and concentrate
only on the Vertani (even as your villagers try to attack us!).

With the last of the Vertani and their fortress are no longer in
Tasur'ke, we would like to offer you amnesty. We want no tribute, no
surrender, or humiliation. All Tasur'ke has to do is cut it's ties to
the Vertani and end their own hostilities against us. Things would
return to as they were before the Vertani arrived.

There is a second offer, should you wish to take us up on it. An offer I
believe would greatly benefit Tasur'ke and which I was hard pressed to
convince the council to agree with (as it costs Ashtan, yet we get
little in return). In this offer, Ashtan would provide aide which you
might need weaning yourself off the Vertani's protection. You would be
our friends and could count on us for whatever you may need. We would be
allies. Again, this offer requires Tasur'ke pay no reparations and
loses. You would still be your own separate village, and not considered
just 'property' of Ashtan. Should you need help standing on your own
feet after the Vertani, or fear what they may do if you cut ties to them
then I would suggest taking us up on this offer.

The Vertani's power in Sapience is waning. Think long and hard Tasur'ke,
how you respond here may for better or worse determine the fate of your
village, of your children for years to come.
