Final Destination

At night, who lurks around the corner waiting?
I have seen what happens to the organs of a man as electricity surges
through his body. There are innocent people on death row.
Who would like to be the executioner when the victim is innocent?
Some believe fate is the obstacle to the accomplishment of one's
destiny. Fate is the rocks on the road preventing you from passing.
Predetermination, premeditation, precursors to the afterlife.
Place of death, time and how.. All known in advance. Triggers.. aren't
we so fond of them? Triggers of events throughout our lives, things that
must happen to allow for progress.. are they innevitable?
Choice. We make the choices we do in life. Ultimately creating fate.
Ending up somewhere, destiny.
What if it was free-flow, spontaneous, unpredictable?
Insignificant choices made as a child carry consequences later in our
lives. THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON... right? Maybe not.
Self-satisfying our cravings to be recognized in a better light,
constantly striving for satisfaction in our sciences and artistry.
This isn't new. You've contemplated these ideas before. You knew they'd
come up again. And when you're done giving them a moment of your
precious existence, return them to Pandora's box.. you'll forget them.
You think my desires are so different from your own.. Abstract..
On your way to the top, everyone wants to be your friend.. As your ship
is sinking whose name will you call out?

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Glacian, in the year 388 AF.
