Dear Citizens of Sapience and her lesser Isles,

As you have no doubt heard, We have been invaded by a Peoples from
another Plane. This has happened before, both peacefully and
aggressively, times where we have intigrated the Peoples into our
society, times where we have exterminated them, all manner of things has
happened in our long history.

The Vertan seem different. They have a Sophisticated Culture, wildly
different Religous Beliefs, and a Standing Army. What their intentions
were when they came to our Plane are unknown, though they professed to
be explorers.

People made a choice when they came, killing them on the spot, others
made a choice to protect them. They made their choices as well, taking
information freely offered and giving little in return. They saw what
they percieved as suffering and gave their aid to El'Jazria, apparently
disreguarding the El'Jazrian affinity for Slavery. More people made
their choices, again either siding with or against the Vertan.

Tasur'ke was placed under Vertan protection, and still more people made
their choices. However, a recent event challenged many people's choices.
The destruction of Thera pushed many people who had sided with the
Vertan away.

So I come to you, with a simple request. You have seen the power these
Travellers possess. You have seen that they can be Honest, Hypocritical
and Deceitful. You have seen the hundreds of posts on this board,
arguing one way or the other over them. I simply ask you this:

Choose Your Side. You have seen their Power, you have seen them use it
for both Good and Evil, weigh the options, use their actions as your
guide and measure them against your own. They have the strength to aid
Achaea greatly, but they also have the strength to destroy it. They have
shown us both Good and Evil, so now you have to make up your mind
whether to help them, hinder them or stand aside. I simply ask you to
make the choice, and do not allow other to do it for you.

Unfortunatly, I cannot tell you how this will end, I cannot tell you
which side is right. You have to judge for yourself. There are leaders
among you, people to which others look for guidence. Yours is a far
greater choice than the rest of us. Yours is the choice for many lives
other than your own, remember the conciquences of either course.

Now is the time Sapience, the critical point is upon us, and indeed may
have already past, and many of you hav not yet decided on your actions.
The only bad choice you can make right now is one of indicision.
Continuing to stall the process will lead to ruin.
