I admit, I have been one of those who have mistrusted the Vertani.
I have been one of those to rally against you, and wish upon you
ill-will.

It wasn't so at first though. I was only just interested in your
folks at first.

I am not one of the most bitter people someone could me. I am nice
to just about everyone I meet. I do not live to project hatred, lies
and deceit. In fact, the whole reason I have come to mistrust your
people is because you have been so evasive, and not willing to let
us learn anything particularly important of your people, until just
recently. You came into a land where we have not had visitors in a
VERY LONG TIME. You wanted to know all about us, but would tell us
nothing much of yourselves. If we asked, we got an evasive response,
or in the very least one that seemed to just sort of beat around the
bush.

To many of us it seems.. hard to accept that someone alien to us would
arrive one day and decide to set down part of thier empire, into our
own.

Of course this happened a very long time ago, on this plane, or else
we would not have all of our races and peoples, but it is not some-
thing that we are used to.

I can say you should have done this, and you should have done that,
when you first arrived, but I suppose nothing about your arrival
really matters now. I still don't know what to think of you and your
folk. I say that in complete honesty, but even us who you think are
bitter, and hateful. Some I suppose are. Some who would come off that
way, such as myself, are not. We are just... mistrustful out of ..
confusion. And angry at how things have panned out. All sorts of
little things add together, to make a person feel in such a big way.
You generalize more then anything. We here, as you I'm sure are coming
to realize.. do not..
